The HAKO-AKE portable scissors and cutter combo from Kokuyo features a simple and safe three-mode design and a compact, slim shape, making it perfect for carrying around and being a great helper for everyday, office, and study scenarios.
- A slider easily switches between scissors, cutter, and lock modes. Scissors mode serves as regular scissors; cutter mode is ideal for opening boxes; and in lock mode, the blade is fully retracted for safety and portability.
- In cutter mode, the blade exposes only about 3mm, enough to open cardboard boxes without worrying about damaging the contents.
- The main body is thoughtfully designed not only to cut steadily on flat surfaces, but its side’s right-angle groove also guides the blade to slice along the right angles of cardboard boxes.
- Its slim shape makes it more convenient for storage and carrying; a hole at the end allows easy hanging storage or easy attachment to a bag for quick access.
The HAKO-AKE is available in two types: Standard and Titanium. The Titanium version features a titanium-coated blade edge, offering greater durability and higher hardness for longer-lasting performance.
