[Description]
This letter set from Furukawa Shiko is part of the Wa-Life Spring 2026 Limited collection and is available in limited quantities. The design features nanohana blossoms, with small yellow flowers scattered gently across the page. Soft colors and matching details across the envelopes and sheets give the set a fresh, seasonal feel.
The set follows a traditional Japanese letter format, with letter sheets and envelopes designed for vertical writing. As the design has no fixed orientation, both the sheets and envelopes also work comfortably for horizontal writing. Each sheet is ruled on one side for writing, with a delicate illustration printed on the reverse.
The paper is made from rakusui-shi (“water-dropped paper”, 落水紙), a type of Japanese washi created by dropping water onto the pulp during production. This process leaves behind soft, organic patterns that are visible and pleasant to the touch.
A thoughtful letter set that brings a sense of care and warmth to both the person writing and the one receiving it.
