All the dangers that Alex, Diana and Maria the Fairy go through in »E paramisi pa kendama« (The Story of a Kendama) introduce the reader to fragments of Romani history, as well as the Roma people’s current situation in today’s Romania. We hope that this book will be a first step towards a fairytale world with heroes familiar to Romani children, or to children who can’t recognize themselves in other stories.
