In the exhibition A Familiar Place at Stockholm City Museum September 11 – November 17 2024, Simon Johansson showed his hometown Stockholm and its inhabitants. A selection of new photos taken since he was awarded the Lennart af Petersens’ Prize 2023 as well as photos from his Stockholm book (A Familiar Place, 2018) was shown. The slideshow of photos taken in the Old Town in Stockholm are captured with a Polaroid camera.
