The Demons They Keep by Luna Nyx

The Demons We Wear · Book 1 of 3

The thing about demons is that they don’t always destroy you. Sometimes they’re the reason you’re still standing.

Three years ago, Odessa arrived in West Creek with a false smile and a suitcase filled with secrets.

Since then, she has built a life from routines, distractions and carefully locked doors. The demons she carries are not the kind that destroy her. They are what kept her standing when everything else collapsed.

Four months ago, a lead brought Saint to the same town. He has spent eight years searching for someone who vanished without a trace, refusing to accept the loss everyone else has already surrendered to.

The day he stops looking is the day he admits she is gone, and that is not a reality he is willing to live with.

Neither Odessa nor Saint expected to find the other. As secrets surface and guarded lives begin to overlap, their connection becomes a slow, uncertain form of safety – one that asks them to be seen after years spent surviving by hiding.

Told through dual perspectives, this contemporary dark romance explores trauma, emotional wounds and the difference between love that fixes someone and love that simply refuses to leave while they find their own way back.

”A dark, emotionally consuming romance about the demons that protect you, the secrets that define you, and the person who refuses to let you disappear.”
