In dark forests, beyond the mountains, by black lakes in hidden groves. At your doorstep. In the shadows, something stirs. Strange beings. Twisted creatures, lurking at the edge of vision. Watching. Waiting. Unseen by most, but not by you. You see them for what they really are. Vaesen.
Vaesen – Nordic Horror Roleplaying is an award winning tabletop roleplaying game by the acclaimed Free League, based on my book about Scandinavian folklore with the same name. Vaesen won three ENNIE Awards in 2021:
Best Monster/Adversary (Gold)
Best Art, Cover (Gold)
Best Art, Interior (Gold)
The pre-order is sent out in a couple of weeks. Each book is accompanied by an exclusive signed A5 print, depicting the cover.
For those of you not very familiar with roleplaying games, this one comes in the form of a book and contains quite a few unique and exclusive illustrations not appearing in the ”regular” Vaesen book.
