»Children’s books is our first contact with literature, a never-ending world, lasting all our lives« is one of the 17 reasons for reading that The Swedish Children’s Books Academy gathered in this inspiring book that brings together text and beautiful illustrations from some of Sweden’s most talented illustrators, all of them part of this institution.
The Swedish Children’s Books Academy started in 1989 with the goal to support and distribute good quality children’s literature and influence the public opinion.
Together with the Romanian association Harap Alb, pionier press has translated and published all those 17 reasons in this Swedish-Hungarian edition (but there are many more reasons to read this book and others!).
